Let it be done to me.

"Behold, I am a servant of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your word." - Mary (Luke 1:38)

May I be so bold as to follow in the footsteps of our sweet Savior's mother, Mary.

With an open heart and open hands, may I graciously accept whatever the Lord may have for me. Whether trials or tribulation, heartache or defeat, stress or persecution... Let it be done to me. I yearn to be a prisoner of hope (Zechariah 9:12), a prisoner to the "Yes" (2 Corinthians 18-22)... So that I may not only say "yes" to all that He gives, but also to all that He allows.

And through it all, I will stand firm on the promises, knowing I am more than a conquer through Him who loves me. Knowing that I have been rescued, redeemed, and adopted; I have been transformed, captivated, and set free. I know that for those who love God all things work together for good, and no matter the obstacle, I will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony.

I throw my life upon all that He is, knowing He deserves nothing less than my utter devotion.
