waiting means:
steadfastness, that is holding on.
patience, that is holding back.
expectancy, that is holding the face up.
obedience, that is holding one's self in readiness to go or do.
listening, that is holding quiet and still so as to hear.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed with my plans... I exhaust myself trying to think about how I will be able to do it allAnd then He stops me, lovingly tells me I cannot do anything on my own, and reminds me that through Him and Him alone I live, move, and have my being. He tells me to wait. To let go of all my plans, and simply cling to the cross. And while it's a scary place, there's nowhere else I'd rather be.

can definitely relate and am going through the same lesson of trusting and clinging to him and only Him. I'm so glad you posted this and I could see it before I tried to align his will with mine and put things into my own hands. This is definitely the Lord reminding me of my covenant with Him.
