Introduce yourself.

In recent months Compelled has gained some new followers (insert a big smile). And I have had the pleasure of getting to know some of you guys out there in blog world... But not many. So here's how I'm thinking I can change that... I need you -- yes, you -- to comment on this post with your name, blog link (if you have one), favorite thing to do on a rainy day, and favorite Bible verse. I want us to end up being best friends, okay? So get to it! I'm counting on you. AND, I will make sure to post my vlog introducing myself at the end of the week (remember, the one I promised to do forever ago? yeah, that one).

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

I love sitting on my porch on rainy days, just basking in the humid, rain-smell air.

"make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. don't be impressed with yourself. don't compare yourself with others. each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can do with your own life." galatians 6:4-5

Hey! I'm Kendra from a life on eagles wings:

my favorite thing to do on a rainy day would to either read, paint or watch pride and prejudice!

and my favorite bible verse would have to be Isaiah 40:31, 'but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.'

Alyss said...

Hi! Name's Alyss and I blog at alyssandalex.blogsot.com.

My favorite thing to day on a rainy is to read a book by the fire. Or cuddle under a blanket with my loves watching movies in bed. Yeah I said movies. Not just one.

My favorite verse is Provervs 4:12-19. It's a doozy.

"When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble. Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life. Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way. For they cannot rest until they do evil; they are robbed of sleep till they make someone stumble. They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence.

The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.
